“A boy and his dog make a glorious pair: no better friendship is found anywhere.”
~ Edgar Guest
A boy and his dog.
My natural light studio.
A beautiful sunny day with warm light filtering through my floor to ceiling windows.
The perfect elements for an absolutely adorable portrait sitting.
George was turning one and he brought with him his best friend, Eric, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, to celebrate with some 1st birthday portraits. Eric was the most well behaved dog I have had in my studio, working hard for his treats from George and George’s mum and dad. George and Eric clearly have a beautiful bond and friendship.
This session was even sweeter because I photographed George back when he was just a tiny 8 week old baby. It really is so special when my clients come back to me as time goes by so that I can create more family keepsakes, and document their growing family. It is a privilege to be able to watch a little one grow from a newborn into a little toddler and a rambunctious child.
George has grown into one gorgeous little boy. With the biggest blue eyes! He is going to be a handsome little boy as he grows up, a real heart breaker I think! Especially if he has gorgeous little Eric by his side. The two of them are just adorable!
“Every boy should have two things: a dog, and a mother willing to let him have one.”
