Jaxon and Tyson came to visit me when they were 9 weeks new for their Newborn Twin portraits. A little more awake then a two week old baby, we still managed some curly sleepy poses of the two, even though they were rarely asleep at the same time.
Creating portraits for twins is more than just taking photos of two babies instead of one. It is about celebrating the amazing connection that exists between these two little humans who have been together since the very beginning. Whose hearts started beating together, who shared a womb, and now share this amazing bond.
Whilst Jaxon and Tyson are identical brothers, there was a marked size difference between the two making it a little easier to keep track of which gorgeous twin we were photographing.
I could not have done this session without the amazing assistance of my Mum, Julie, who is the Baby Whisperer, soothing and shooshing these two little boys for hours with me whilst we created these family keepsakes.
I just adore the jumble of fingers and toes in some of these portraits, the boys were always the most settled when they were touching each other.
You can see more of my newborn portraits over in my NewbornPortraiture Gallery.
